Press Release Regarding The Iraq Earthquake’s Effects On Iran

We have learned with great sorrow that the earthquake which occurred in Iraq last night (12 November) has also seriously affected Kermanshah province of Iran and claimed many lives and injured many others.

The Turkish people, who have suffered from many earthquakes in the past, are in solidarity with the peoples of Iran and Iraq.

Turkey is ready to extend assistance to the friendly and brotherly people of Iran via the Turkish Red Crescent and Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) if needed.

We wish Allah’s mercy on those who lost their lives and quick recovery to the injured in Iran.
